Operation Warm is back for another round! EASD families of PK through 5th grade students are invited to stop by Jackson Elementary on Saturday, October 22 for a free winter jacket, hat, and mittens! *Student must accompany their grown-up to receive a free coat.* --- ¡El programa de Operation Warm regresa para otra ronda! Jackson Elementary, Picture Day is Tuesday, October 11! This picture will be taken using Green Screen technology. Please note that if your child wears green, they may appear to blend in with the background on unedited proofs. To avoid pictures like these, dress your child in another color. If a child does wear green, Inter-State Studio will do their best to fix the picture in color editing.

You're invited! The Elkhorn Area School District invites you and your child to celebrate their upcoming third birthday with the Early Childhood Team at Matheson Memorial Library! Children turning three between July 1 and December 31, 2019, are invited to our November 14, 2022, party. In addition to celebrating, we will be offering developmental screenings to help identify whether your child is meeting appropriate milestones for their age in the areas of speech/communication, personal-social development, motor coordination, and early concepts. A hearing and vision screening will also be offered. A second 3-year-old birthday party will be offered in Spring on March 8, 2023, for toddlers turning 3 on or after January 1, 2020. -- ¡Estás invitado! The Rotary Club of Elkhorn invites you to their annual pancake breakfast at Elkhorn Area Middle School, Saturday, November 5, 8 a.m. - noon. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit EASD music programs. Hope Squad's "Hope Game" is this Friday's Varsity Football Game vs. Badger. During halftime they will be hosting a Miracle Minute to raise funds to help pay for Suicide Prevention Training and resources for both the High School and Middle Schools. #goelks

Dear Parents/Guardians, We are very excited to offer parents/guardians back into the building to eat lunch with their child. With this change in procedure, we wanted to send a reminder with our lunchroom guidelines and procedures for visitors in the lunchroom. 1. Immediate family/guardian or grandparents of students permitted. 2. There are parent tables located in the back of the lunchroom where you can sit with your child. 3. Lunch is scheduled for a 20 minute time period. Students need to return from eating lunch with their family when their allotted lunch period is over. 4. Students may not bring friends over to eat with parents/guardians. 5. Carry in food is permitted but for parent/guardian and student only.
